We will meet at the top of the escalator at the Adams Morgan metro station. There should be some street parking, but it will be tougher to find as the summer goes on and the zoo fills up.

We will meet across the street from the Metro escalator at the entrance gate to the visitor's center. I know that there is parking, but I've never been there so I don't know how far it is or if there's any cost

We will meet next to the bike racks, which are on the same level as the Metro Busses.

If you are coming from the Metro, go to the Bethesda Metro Station, take the escalators up from the main floor of the metro and the bike racks will be straight ahead before the next escalator.

If you are driving from DC, take Wisconson Ave north past Friendship Heights and Chevy Chase. Take a left on to Bethesda Ave. See parking directions below.

If you are driving from the Beltway (Rt. 495) from Virginia, take the Old Georgetown exit. At the end of the exit go right and stay on Old Georgetown Rd until the intersection with Wisconson Ave. Take a right onto Wisconson Ave. A few blocks later, take a right onto Bethesda Ave.

If you are driving from the Beltway (Rt. 495) from Maryland, take the Bethesda exit. Stay in the right lane while getting off of the exit and follow signs for Wisconson Ave (Rockville Pike) South. This is a jug handle so it will have the effect of making a U-turn. Stay on Wisconson Ave. into downtown Bethesda, pass the Metro on your right and take a right onto Bethesda Ave.

Try to park in the lot next to the Capital Crecent Trail and across the street from the Barnes and Nobel. The lot is on the corner of Woodmont Ave. and Bethesda Ave. To meet us, walk up Bethesda Ave towards Wisconson Ave and then turn left on to Wisconson Ave. and walk north past the movie theater, the post office, and the Hyatt. The Metro escalator will be on your left. We will be at the bottom of the first escalator next to the bike racks

We will meet at the top of the Metro escalator that leads outside (not the one that comes up inside of the building).

I don't know of a good place to park around here (unless you want to walk a few blocks from the residential areas) so I recommend that you take the Metro.
