I'm sorry to say that Late Shift Runners will be taking a break for a little while to regroup. I haven't gotten quite the response I was hoping for, so I won't be arranging weekly long runs until we can get some of the numbers up. In the mean time I'll still be running every week at 9am or 10am on Saturday mornings so let me know if you want a running partner (I'm trainng for the Baltimore Marathon in October, so I'll be doing 12-20 miles for each run). Check back here to find out about our next official run. Also, please keep sending me emails if you'd like to join that way I'll email you when we get started.
Late Shift Runners is a new co-ed group commited to your favorite obsession... Running! We're looking for participants from all levels of training who want a social atmosphere on their weekly long runs in Washington DC.
LSR is all about the runner who doesn't want to drag herself out of bed first thing in the morning to hit the trail. Runs will start at 10am on Saturdays
We're not a training program, but we can help you to reach your training goals by offering you a group of committed runners, who understand that running isn't your whole life. We're all struggling to balance work, school, friends and running.
Have you finished your first marathon, or think you're ready to take the plunge? Have you tried Walk/Run but think you can do more?
If any of this sounds right for you, contact us at lateshiftrunners@gmail.com to find out about our inaugural run.
